We are open as usual and will continue to do so unless government advice changes for preschool settings.
If your child is unwell please do not bring them to pre-school, this is for the safety of yourselves, your children, our staff team and their families. If anyone in your household develops symptoms, please follow the current self-isolating guidelines.
The below text has been taken from the NHS website:
The main symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) are:
- a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
- a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
- a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you’ve noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal
If you have any of these symptoms, get a test to check if you have coronavirus and stay at home until you get your result.
If your child displays symptoms whilst at pre-school you will be asked to come and collect them immediately, they will be moved away from the rest of the group and the staff member who cares for your child will wear visor, mask, gloves and apron (the children have been shown this so they will not be too alarmed if we have to put on our super hero shield.
