Summer Garden Party – Saturday 2nd July 2.00 – 4.00pm
Thank-you to everyone for coming to, and also helping out at, our annual Summer Garden Party on Saturday. Although the weather hasn’t been particularly ‘summery’ so far, we enjoyed a day of good weather and lots of play.
Our most popular event, which has become a firm fixture in the pre-school calendar, was very well attended. There were garden games, fantastic face painting, bun decorating, raffle and prizes. Although this wasn’t primarily a fundraising event we still managed to raise over £100 from our very generous families attending on the day!
For some parents it was their first time in our lovely garden and many commented on what a great space it was for the children to be able to play in. We think so too!
We would also like to give a big ‘thank-you!’ to our friends at Ilkley Moor Vaults for providing us with a voucher as one of our raffle prizes.
