We would like to say ‘thank-you’ to The Ilkley Singers for providing some festive cheer on Tuesday. This was arranged for a second year in a row by Catherine, who is a member of the Ilkley Singers and a grandma of one of our children.
We all really enjoyed the performance and are extremely grateful to Catherine for visiting the pre-school every Monday, since September, to teach us lots of French songs. They absolutely love it and spend the rest of the week humming or singing the songs to themselves! The children sang the nativity story in French, before the Ilkley Singers moved on to a programme of carols.
